Crimson Horde Background

how the horde came

to andolor

Long before the Crimson Horde came to Andolor, its people lived among the

Vikings of another land. They had learned their ways — strength, warfare,
raiding and the value of what could be won — but they wanted a place of their
own.

So the Horde took ship and sailed for an unknown land. For days there was
nothing but sea. Then the clouds came.

Thunder rolled across the water and the wind drove the ship before it. The
Horde had weathered storms before, but this one grew fiercer until even the
most hardened among them went below.

Then lightning struck. A great bolt split the ship in two, throwing the Horde into
the sea. As the wreckage disappeared beneath the waves, those still conscious
saw a strange red mist gathering over the water.

then darkness.

They awoke scattered along the shore of a land none of them knew. Some were
missing. Their ship was gone. But the survivors gathered, explored, and
eventually found the people of this strange realm.

they called it andolor.

The Horde believed Thor had answered their search — not by guiding their ship
safely to harbor, but by smashing it to pieces and depositing them where they
needed to be.

It was, they decided, a very Thor way to solve the problem.

And there, the Crimson Horde began again.

The rest of the story belongs to the people who lived it.

Crimson became known for PK, warfare and raiding, built its own traditions,
equipment and clan hall, and survived as Andolor itself changed around it.
Some of those years are well documented. Others survive mostly as names,
stories and arguments over what really happened.

As Andolor changed, the Horde changed with it.

Thor mostly remained Thor.

Today Crimson Horde remains a PK clan, but PK is not required for
membership. We value players who learn, improve, contribute, and

enjoy being part of the clan.

PK remains part of the clan. Hammers are optional.

There is history here. We are not bound to it, and the Horde keeps changing.

Thor still drops by. The lightning gives him away.

and won't take itself too seriously along the way — read our Join Us
